Over the winter periods sometimes smart home equipment fails to operate as expected. Where these items are smart thermostats the problems can leave us with a cold house and no hot water. So useful information from the manufacturers is provided below.

It is worth checking the heat link which is usually connected next to your boiler or in your airing cupboard. You can manually trigger the heating or hot water cycles by pressing the unit. The LEDS should light up on the heat link to indicate whether it is the Heating or Hot Water cycle being activated. If the LEDS do not illuminate it could indicate a problem with the heat link
